VA tourneys we recommend our fencers attend:
2014 Back To School Brawl at CFA, August 23rd & 24th.
One of our classic recurring tourneys, this one is usually a strong Ratings Rally event with Unrated, Youth, Div 2 and Div 3 foil, epee and saber events. As always for home tourneys awesome edged weapons for the winners
2014 Kickoff Open Div 1 and Div 2 ROC, September 13th and 14th
The Virginia Division is excited to offer it’s annual Kick Off Open as a DIV IA and DIV II ROC on September 13th and September 14th, 2014. 12 events and well over 600 fencers competed last year in Fredericksburg, this year now featuring 28 grounded metal strips. This is an ROC so it counts both for points and as a qualifying path to Summer Nationals. If you plan on being in the stat or national points race, DO NOT miss this event.
2014 VA RYC #1 at RFC, September 27th and 28th.
The first RYC of the year is going to be hosted by our friends at RFC. They always do a good job so be sure to come out and kick off the seasons youth fencing circuit!
