2013 Upcoming tournaments at Charlottesville Fencing Alliance
Central Virginia School Fencing League TEAM and Individual Championship Tournament, May 11th
Referee Clinic Tournament, May 5th (3 weapon)
CFA’s Annual Summer Sizzler, June 22-23rd
VA tourneys we recommend our fencers attend:
Conomikes-Gutenburg Memorial Open at W&M, April 20-21st
This event is a strong, well attended Open event on a lovely campus. In addition to the current team, which is one of the strongest in VA, there are a lot of alums that traditionally attend this tourney in addition to the usual suspects.
Cinco De Mayo Referee Div II/III Tournament at CFA, May 5th (all on one day)
Three weapons in one day, referee tournaments are not only a fun event but also a civic duty to help make a strong event and help grow some new referees. It is also a great chance to try a weapon you don’t normally fence in tourneys.
