CFA Fencers took home trophies at all events from the Tech Open this weekend! Some very excellent fencing by all of our athletes at one of the largest Tech Tourneys I can remember.

Douglas Daniels: Gold, Open Saber
Dustin Salz: Silver, Open Epee and earning a D13
Emily Brown: Bronze, Open Saber
Nathaniel Sides: 5th, Open Foil

Doug Daniels took home the win for Open Saber defeating Ron Thornton 15-4, and Emily Brown had a wonderful performance finishing 3rd in the same Open Saber event. Dustin Salz was on fire this weekend finishing 2nd place in his first ever USFA tournament! Nathaniel Sides fenced a great tourney as well in the Open foil, finishing 5th and adding one of Techs “unique” trophies to his collection.

Overall a wonderful showing from our fencers! Congrats to all our athletes for coming out this weekend and to our medalists. CFAer’s, you make us proud!
